Feathered Heads

Feathered Heads is an ongoing project that Angela launched in 2014 to showcase rescued and endangered birds, as well as species ‘ambassadors’.

The collection gets up-close and personal with these beautiful Australian native birds to reveal their beauty and personality.

This initial collection was for National Bird Week, an event run by Birdlife Australia to inspire Australians to become involved in bird conservation.

Angela also self published an art book ‘Feathered Heads’ to accompany this collection. The first edition of 20 copies sold out, prompting a second edition with an extra 20 pages.

In 2015, ‘Feathered Heads’ won best book at the NSW Professional Photography Awards.
