This image is from the 2022 Bird Week Australia Exhibition “Change”, Where Angela explores how nature is an inherent part of our existence.

We have become separated from nature, we need to re-learn that we and all of the creatures  are all part of the one earth we will ever know.

In 2020 BirdLife Australia reported that since 1998 there has been a 30% decline in urban Magpie populations along the east coast of Australia.

Climate change, ingestion of poisoned rodents and habitat loss are believed to be their major threats.

This Magpie is one of Angela’s wild visitors and the background trees are where him and his missus nest.
