It was a cold Sydney winter and this local Magpie used to sing every morning.
Angela loved how there was hot air coming from her beak so timed the shot with the final exhale of song.
This shot took 3 months to achieve to get the exact exhale of song and smoke position.
The monochrome version of this image was a finalist in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year.
This image is printed on special photo rag pearl paper (please read the additional info section), so turnaround is 7 working days. As it is a more heavier art paper it is more expensive to print.
